I recently started writing sex toy reviews for an awesome online retailer, PinkCherry.com, and they sent me the Bcute Classic for one of my first reviews!

The Bcute Classic is a bitty vibe, (and yes, it it definitely lives up it’s name, as it’s adorable!) measuring only 4 1/2 inches, with about 3 inches of that being insertable. It also has a very slim diameter, only 7/8 inches, and overall, is only slightly larger than a tube of lipstick. The Classic has a twistable white plastic battery cap on the end which allows you to control the speeds, and is embossed with the word ‘Bswish’ in silver. The battery does have an o-ring that makes it waterproof. (And yes, it stood up to my ‘Waterboarding for Science!’ test.)

The packaging for this vibe was definitely classier than your typical vibrator packaging, but by no means discreet. It is a black, white and purple box, and has two photographs of women in just bras and panties on it. However, the pictures are tasteful, and definitely don’t come across as ‘trashy’, but more artistic. Still, it’s not something you would leave out, and besides, why would you when this vibe comes with it’s own drawstring storage pouch? I’m unsure of the material, but it is velvety to the touch, and the inside is non-fuzzy. Yay for not having to pick tiny bits of lint off my toy before use!

The silicone Bcute used for this toy is awesome. There is very little give to the silicone, and it feels as though it’s a silicone coating over a hard plastic case. The surface is a lovely matte finish that has a velvetish feel to is, and is a bit draggy. So, you will want to use some water based lube with it if you plan on rubbing it against yourself. It also is not a lint magnet like some of the glossier types of silicone seem to be.

Now, my main problem with this toy is also because of the silicone. Well, specifically, the annoyingly pronounced seam running down the middle of my lovely little vibe. For a toy that is working hard at promoting itself as a affordable ‘luxury’ item, you would think that Bcute would have taken the little bit of extra time and effort to make sure that there wasn’t a seam running down the middle of an area that is supposed to be rubbing against my clit or vulva. I did manage to make the seam less irritating by using a razor blade to gently pare it down, though. (I recommend using either an X-Acto knife or straight razor blade, and using tiny and short strokes. It took me about 10 minutes to get it to a smoothness I was happy with.)

Using this toy as a clit vibe for masturbation was a teasing and rather frustrating experience. It may just be because I am a Hitachi Girl (TM) but the vibrations weren’t just enough to make me come. The feeling of the tip rubbing with some pressure against my clit did, though. I did try inserting the bullet to see if I could use it as a mini g-spot vibe, but it was definitely too short for that, as my g-spot is set fairly deep and I ended up with come all over my fingers and the bullet too. Oops. During sex, the Bcute was a bit more effective, but it still didn’t manage to get me past the feeling of ‘Oh gods, I want to come.’ into an actual orgasm.

One area I found that the Bcute really excelled at was for using on my boyfriend. He loved it when I would use it against his perineum while either giving him a blowjob or a rim job. For him, the vibrations felt amazing, and definitely made him orgasm more quickly than either activity alone would have.

The Bcute Classic is an excellent toy for teasing and foreplay, but when it comes to actually getting me off, I need a vibe with more oomph! Still, I will be keeping it around for when I feel like dragging out my masturbation sessions and making myself work for an orgasm. ;) I give it three paws up out of five!

If you want a Bcute Classic of your own, you can get one from PinkCherry.com! They also have it available in Petal Pink and Rose.
