This review was a long time in the writing, as DVD reviews (I have discovered the hard way) just aren’t my thing. But, it’s finally done, and I have learned my lesson: no more DVD reviews!
‘Fallen‘ starts by introducing us to a couple who are having sex in a hotel. The girl deviates from her ‘normal’ routine, post-sex, and dies…in a freak elevator accident?! The girl’s angel, played by Jessica Drake, was supposed to be watching over her, and is cast out of heaven for failing in her duties. Angel decides to throw herself wholeheartedly into the deviance and debauchery that this world offers, and the second sex scene of the film is a massive orgy! 
The orgy scene is filmed in a dark club, with various statues in the background. A bit surreal, but I guess they were going for the ‘cross between a dungeon and a cathedral’ look. Derrick Pierce, one of my favourite actors and Doms, makes an appearance in this scene, and it broke my brain a little. He is wearing a large collar (that totally didn’t fit, which just made it even more weird), but isn’t acting submissive at all. My brain=broken. I have never seen a top wearing a collar, so it distracted me from the sexin’ for a few minutes. This scene does have a *lot* of double penetration, and a women going down on or fingering another woman while a man fucks her.
Angel wanders the city after dark, ‘eavesdropping’ on various couples having sex. There’s a yummy threesome with two guys and a girl that includes lots of oral sex and double penetration! Angel then meets a man that she seems to have a strange connection with. They go out on a date, and end up having some rather epic sex. However, the next morning, she makes a shocking discovery about her mystery man. I’m not going to give away much more of the plot, sufficient to say that Angel has a lot of sex, and eventually a ‘come to Jesus’ moment. (Pun intended)
There are several other scenes in this movie. My second favourite (after the orgy, that is) was a scene between Angel and a stripper. The first half of the scene is with the girl in a glass box, with Angel watching her and giving her increasingly dirty and explicit instructions. They end up in bed together, and there’s an interesting twist at the end of the scene.
One scene that I was particularly irked by was between Jessica Drake and Randy Spears. Randy plays a corrupt cop who has an arrangement with Jessica. He picks her up for ‘solicitation’ as she is walking down the street, and fucks her on the back of his cruiser in exchange for not arresting her. As someone who wears a uniform in my real life, I found this scene pretty offensive. Way to perpetuate the dirty cop stereotype, guys! *growls and grumbles* The vast majority of people in uniform aren’t corrupt douches, thank you. (And yes, I do realize that it is ridiculous to expect reality to intrude on porn, but this is a pet peeve of mine.)
The first time I watched this movie with my boyfriend, we were really into it til after the dungeon orgy scene…then we started to get a bit bored. He kept asking how much more of the movie was left, and actually fell asleep during it! I’ve definitely seen better acted porn this month, and this is from the girl who watched ‘Lord of the G-Strings‘ last week.
The packing for this DVD is either sumptuous or over the top, depending on how you look at it. It comes in a 8.5 by 11 inch box that is supposed to look like a book. It opens to show fold out panels with pictures of various scenes from the movie. I ended up throwing out my box, as it took up way too much space. My bookshelf is for books, and space is at a premium, damnit! 
There are three bonus disks, two of which are extra features, as well as one that is full of previews of Wicked’s releases from 2010.
I was very impressed by some of the options that this DVD came with. For example, you had the choice to skip scenes, so that you were only watching the sex and no plot! Also, there was audio options that let you just listen to the background music and no dialogue! I haven’t seen this in any other porn DVD I have viewed, and really liked this. (Especially as the constant moaning or repetitive attempts at dirty talk could get annoying very quickly in some scenes!) You can also just have the dialogue without the background sounds. There is also a bloopers reel, as well as tons of other extras, such as a gallery of stills from the movie, interviews with various cast members, and even extra scenes! There’s 6! hours of bonus features! That’s pretty impressive, especially considering that ‘Fallen‘ runs an insanely long 2 hours and 46 minutes. All of these bonuses don’t make up for the fatal flaws in this movie, though.
Overall, while this isn’t a terrible DVD, it’s not that great either. If you prefer your porn to have semi-believable acting, and some actual plot between the sex, or women who aren’t blonde, blue eyed, and big breasted, skip this. If you are looking for a DVD to have on in the background during sex or at a play party, this would definitely be a good pick! I, however, don’t ever see myself watching this again.
The boyfriend and I give ‘Fallen‘ 2 out of 5 stars.

Thanks for such a great review Pixel! I think having something like this on during a party would be a great idea, especially if you were trying to encourage guests to feel a little more sexual and randy.
I’ve been to way too many parties where everyone just stood around and looked at the goings on instead of getting their groove on themselves!
I don’t think I particularly want to devote three hours of my life to watching a boring porno, so I’m extra glad that you threw yourself on that particular bomb for us!
